For those of you who are flying in to Winnipeg Airport, and require transportation to Gimli, there are several options.  As this will be a green conference, there are several public transportation options for your use.

1.  As of right now, it looks like a shuttle bus, set up by the conference organizers, will be running at least once on the first day and the last day of the conference from the Airport.  Further updates on this will be presented on the conference website.

2.  We also wish to encourage carpooling, as it is likely that many professionals will be renting cars and driving to Gimli from Winnipeg.  This forum is set up for you to ask for rides, if you should require it, or make it known that you have space in your vehicle to and from Winnipeg.  Additionally, there will be a notice board at the conference for this purpose for return trips.  If you wish to e-mail me your contact information I can be a 'middleman' so you do not have to place your e-mail on this forum for all to see.

3.  Greyhound bus lines also offer service to and from Gimli.  However, if you wish to use their service, you should know that it leaves from downtown Winnipeg, not the Airport.  You will need to take a bus or taxi downtown from the Airport.
